A shoot during the pandemic
In addition to being inspired by the Covid-19 crisis, Dany Boon’s film was also shot during the lockdown. The few exterior scenes were filmed in Paris, while most of the scenes were shot in a studio in Belgium, which recreated the building’s inner courtyard and the apartments of each family.
The previz' origins
This project is of particular importance to benuts, as it led to the creation of our Real-Time department. Our artists recreated the set using VR Scouting to enable Dany Boon and his team to prepare for their shoot in advance. And previsualization was born at benuts.
